According to sources, the Colts are going to swap quarterbacks with the Washington Commanders for a package of picks.
Sources said that the Colts return includes two third-round picks.
Washington will pay the entire $28 million due to Wentz in the next season, which includes a $5 million roster bonus due next week, according to sources.
Commanders general manager Martin Mayhew said the team had canvassed the league to find a quarterback. Since 1991, Washington has started 32 quarterbacks and started eight in the past three seasons.
