Wyndham Rewards Promo: Earn Up To 5x Points

I don't talk much about the loyalty program of the company that has 9,300 hotels in 90 countries.

The new promotion is valid for stays this spring. The offer only rewards you for a single stay, but it has the potential to be very lucrative. Let's look at the details.

Members can earn bonus points on their first eligible stay with the new promotion. You earn more bonus points the longer you stay.

• Stay two consecutive nights, earn 2x points
• Stay three consecutive nights, earn 3x points
• Stay four consecutive nights, earn 4x points
• Stay five consecutive nights, earn 5x points

The basic terms to be aware of are:

• This is valid for stays booked by May 9, 2022
• You must complete your qualifying stay by May 31, 2022
• Registration is required prior to booking your first eligible stay; unfortunately previously booked stays don’t qualify for this promotion
• Stays must be booked directly through Wyndham, either through the website or mobile app
• Bonus points will post within two to four weeks of a qualifying stay
• You only earn this bonus for your first eligible stay during the promotion period, even if it’s not your longest stay

You usually earn 10x the points per dollar spent. If you booked a five night stay, you would be earning 50x Wyndham rewards points per dollar spent, which is huge.

Redeeming Wyndham Rewards points

There are three tiers of hotels when it comes to redemption.

• About a third of properties cost 7,500 points per night
• A majority of properties cost 15,000 points per night
• A few hundred properties cost 30,000 points per night

You can see that earning up to 50x Wyndham rewards points will add up quickly. The catch is that you're capped at being rewarded for your first stay only. I value the points at 0.7 cents each.

The newest promotion is live. You can earn up to 5x points if you stay a single stay. This gives members the ability to earn up to 50x points per dollar on a single stay, which is extremely generous, though it is odd to see a hotel group not rewarding incremental stays.
