The World Golf Hall of Fame will induct Tiger Woods on Wednesday.
American Woods has won 15 majors, second only to Jack Nicklaus, and a joint-record 82 times on the PGA Tour.
The 46-year-old is missing this week's Players Championship at Sawgrass as he continues to recover from the injuries he sustained in a car crash.
He played with his son at an event in December, but hasn't set a date for his return to the tour.
The ceremony, which starts at 19:00 local time, will see Woods introduced by his daughter Sam and be inducted along with former PGA Tour commissioner Tim Finchem, four-time major winner Susie Maxwell and course developer and architect Marion Hollins.
He was going to be a Hall of Famer when he was five years old, according to the champion.
He has been an inspiration to many of us. We have to thank Tiger for where the game is and where the Tour is.
Even though he played just one tournament all year, Woods won the Player Impact Programme on the PGA Tour for generating more media interest than any other golfer in 2021.
His last official tour event was the Masters.
In February of 2021, Woods was seriously injured in a car crash and was not seen for much of the year. A social media post of him hitting golf balls under the title "making progress" attracted 7.8 million views.
He and his son, Charlie, competed in the parent-child exhibition event. They made 11 consecutive birdies in the final round and finished second.
At the 2008 US Open, Woods won his 14th major.
His victory at the ZOZO Championship in Japan in October was his 82nd win on the PGA Tour.
