Kelly Clarkson and Brandon Blackstock Reach Divorce Settlement

Kelly is walking away with the lion's share of assets, although he is getting a pretty penny in support.

Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon just signed off on the terms. Their 2 kids will have primary custody of Kelly. Brandon will have the kids one weekend a month.

Kelly will keep the Montana ranch, but Brandon will be allowed to live there until June 1. He has to pay her rent of $12,500 a month.

The custody arrangement will be reexamined if Brandon moves to another state.

After a trial, the judge affirmed the validity of the prenup, which was a big win for Kelly. She makes around $20 million a year, and that is all she has.

Brandon will get $115,000 a month in support, but it ends in January 2024.

He gets $45,600 a month in child support. He only gets the kids one weekend a month, but the overhead he has to pay to make sure the kids are comfortable is reflected in the amount. If Brandon moves somewhere else and the overhead expenses change, Laura Wasser can go back into court and ask for an adjustment.

She is paying him more than one million dollars as part of the settlement.

On the heels of getting the settlement finalized, Kelly sang "I Will Always Love You" at the Academy of Country Music Awards. It was obvious that Dolly Parton was singing to anyone.

Their single status was restored by the judge in September. Blackstock was removed from Kelly's name and she now goes by Kelly Brianne. Although she will still be known as Kelly Clarkson, she has dropped her middle name. She made the change because she doesn't like her father.

Finally, the case is over.
