Bryant secured its first trip to the NCAA men's basketball tournament on Tuesday, but the game was marred by a fight between fans in the stands.
Peter Kiss had 34 points to lead the bulldogs to a 70-43 victory over the Seahawks in Rhode Island. The NEC title is the first for Bryant, which transitioned to Division I.
The game was delayed for 30 minutes after a fight between fans behind the bench erupted.
Local and state police were on the court. The officials went to the replay monitors multiple times to see if any players entered the stands. The guard was ejected.
Bryant athletic Bill Smith told the crowd on the public address system that they could not storm the court until after the players and staff had left the floor.
