The Studio Display is a lower-priced alternative to the Pro Display XDR. Apple has started selling a three-meter option for $129 and a one-meter option for $129 for customers who want a longer cable.
Apple says the Thunderbolt 4 Pro cable can support up to 40Gb/s of data transfer and up to 10Gb/s of data transfer.
The studio display has a slim all-aluminum enclosure, 5K resolution, up to 600 nits of brightness, support for the P3 wide color gamut, and a built-in stand that allows the user to tilt the display up to 30 degrees.
The studio-quality three-mic array is one of the features of the studio display.
The studio display will be available in the online store on March 18. The studio display is priced at $1999 in the US with a tilt- and height-adjustable stand. The monitor can be configured with either glass or a VESA mount.
