Phil Collins remains seated during Berlin concert months after revealing he can no longer play the drums

Phil Collins and his Genesis bandmates were in Berlin, Germany on Monday night for a concert.

The singer joined his band mates. While he entertained with his vocals, concertgoers were reminded of his declining health as he remained seated in a chair throughout the performance.

The photos from Berlin showed a glimpse of his performance restrictions, just months after he revealed he can no longer play the drums.

Others shared their concerns about the musician.

The musician's health has been in decline in recent years after he suffered nerve damage from a spine injury in 2007, forcing him to be seen in a wheelchair occasionally.

In September of last year, Collins appeared on the Breakfast show to discuss the tour in which his son, Nicholas, was said to be taking over drumming duties. His drumming days are behind him.

He told the hosts that he doesn't get behind a drumset. I can barely hold a stick with this hand, there are certain physical things that get in the way.

Collins said that he is happy to be a part of the tour despite not being able to play the drums. He mentioned in previous interviews that it was a way of putting it to bed.
