Draymond Green hopes to return from his back injury on March 14.
Next Monday, the 14th, against the Wizards. That is the date Green said he was targeting on his show. It has been almost two and a half months. I have never missed that much time during the season. I am very excited to get back out there with my guys and try to fix this ship.
On January 5, Green played a full game. He started the game for the Warriors in honor of Klay Thompson, but left before the start of the game. Golden State went 13-12 in his absence and he missed the next 25 games. He will have missed 29 games by the 14th.
Green could return in the next seven to 10 days according to Adrian. Several members of the Warriors organization told ESPN that Green was close to returning, and Golden State coach Steve Kerr said he was optimistic that the former Defensive Player of the Year would be back soon.
Kerr said that he got a report that he got another rehab session in on the court. He has been on the court for about a week and a half, getting a lot of shots up. He is feeling a lot better.
The Warriors will play the Wizards in San Francisco on March 14.
