Tomorrow might be Apple event day, but for those still trying to procure Sony's next-gen gaming console, each and every day is one to wait with bated breath. We are happy to report that GameStop is going to sell the PS5 twice this week. The PS5 Digital Edition will be available for purchase on the retailer's website on Tuesday, March 8th. The entry-level model of the PS5 does not have a disc drive. There is more hope for you later this week if you are hoping to get the standard PS5. The standard model will be available for in-person sales on Friday, March 11th.

The PS5 restocks will be in bundle form. They are only available to Power Rewards Pro members, a paid membership that costs $14.99 a year. The PS5 Digital Edition will be available in two bundle options. One will cost $652.97 and contain the console, an additional controller, a gift card, and a subscription to PS Plus. The PS5 Digital Edition with a red dual-sense controller and a PowerA charging station is included in the second bundle, but you can upgrade to the 980 Pro with the gift cards.

Replacement PS5 covers are available in various colors, if you want to match your console to your bundled controller.

The in-store restock set for Friday, March 11th should include the regular PS5 with a disc drive, Gran Turismo 7 25th Anniversary Edition, a PowerA dual-sense charging station, and a HyperX Cloud. The bundle will run a hefty $797.96, a far cry from the console's value, but at least these are some of the latest games and accessories you may want.

This is going to be one of the most extensive PS5 restocks in a long time, but availability will likely be very limited. Pre-fill all your shipping and billing info when you sign in with your Pro account to order a Digital Edition bundle from the site. We will update this post with more information and links once we have them. Best of luck both online and in person.

Some accessories and games for your future PlayStation 5

If you get your console, here are some recommendations for accessories and games that you don't see in the bundles.

Ghost of Tsushima is an open-world, third-person sword fighting game that sees your character trying to prevent the Mongolian invasion of Japan.

The latest adventure in the Ratchet and Clank series is the most fun yet. It is the first to launch on PS5 and it is a showcase for amazing graphics and fast loading speeds.
