Los Angeles Lakers head coach Frank Vogel told reporters that starLebron James will miss Monday's game against the San Antonio Spurs because of left knee soreness.
His health takes precedence over any game, for sure.
James is 37 years old and has already missed time this season with a knee injury, so any physical setbacks will be worrying.
Despite championship expectations, Los Angeles has struggled to find consistency this season, and James has once again been a dominant player on the court, averaging 29.4 points, 8.1 rebound, 6.2 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks per game.
He has four NBA titles, four NBA Finals Most Valuable Player awards, four league Most Valuable Player awards, and 17 All-NBA selections. He is the main reason why the Lakers have some hope for the season even though they have not played well.
While James is out, Los Angeles will likely rely more on Russell Westbrook and Talen Horton-Tucker.
