Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday made sure the Milwaukee Bucks didn't suffer any setbacks in their three-game gauntlet.

The Phoenix Suns had a chance to win the game at the buzzer, but Holiday missed a layup.

In the fourth quarter, Holiday and Middleton scored 17 and 16 points, respectively, to help the Bucks outscore the Suns 12-1. They are the first teammates to score at least 15 fourth-quarter points in the same game over the last 25 seasons.

Holiday said that the team is a good one. We know what it takes to win a game.

The Bucks have won four in a row and three in a row. The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Miami Heat and the Chicago Cubs in back-to-back nights, then knocked off the Phoenix Suns, who are the NBA's best record.

In the final six minutes of the Heat game, Milwaukee erased a 14-point deficit and trailed the Bulls by seven points at the start of the fourth quarter.

We're trying to lock in a little bit better, and we've had this before. We are trying to be your best self for 48 minutes.

This was the first visit by the Suns since Antetokounmpo scored 50 points in a Game 6 victory. The Suns defeated the Suns 131-107 in Phoenix on February 10.

This time, Antetokounmpo had 19 points, 13 rebound and six assists in 31 minutes before he was done.

That was a big statement game for us. "We really wanted to get that win, and we were really disappointed with how we finished the game."

The Suns were without their usual All-Star starting backcourt of Booker and Paul. Booker missed his third game due to the NBA's health and safety protocols. Paul broke his thumb.

Two days after he scored 38 points and made a buzzer-beating 3-pointer in a victory over the New York Knicks, Cam Johnson was missing from Phoenix. Johnson has a bruise on his right thigh.

The Suns had a player with 30 points. Cam Payne had more than 20.

Serge Ibaka had a double-double. Jordan Nwora had 12 points.

Antetokounmpo went to the bench after he picked up his fifth foul, as the Suns led by a point.

The two-time Most Valuable Player missed the first four minutes of the second half and the Suns trailed 120-118 when he came back with 3:23 remaining. Holiday and Middleton combined for 16 points.

They were both aggressive in the fourth quarter.

The Suns were in front with 3:13 left. Nwora missed a 3-point attempt on the Bucks, but Antetokounmpo got the rebound and passed to Nwora, who hit a jumper to put Milwaukee back in front.

There are tips.

The Suns were killed by the free-throw disparity. The Suns were 8 of 11 on free-throw attempts. The Suns had won their last four regular-season games. Payne had a career high of 23 points.

There was a sore left hampster that caused Matthews to not play. Mike Budenholzer said before the game that he was thinking and hoping that Matthews would be able to play. Serge Ibaka had his highest point and rebound totals since he was acquired by the Bucks. His ninth game was with the Bucks.

Up next.

The Suns are on the road for three straight games. The Suns beat the Magic at home.

At Oklahoma City on Tuesday. In Milwaukee, the Bucks defeated the Thunder 96-89.
