Miami Heat guard Victor Oladipo is set to return to the court for the first time in nearly a year in Monday's home game against the Houston Rockets.
On April 8, 2021, he last appeared in an NBA game. He has been out of action since going through a second surgery on his right quadriceps tendon, which he injured while playing for the Indiana Pacers.
According to Spoelstra, Oladipo will be limited to 15 minutes on Monday.
Kyle Lowry is back for the Heat after taking a team-approved absence to deal with a personal matter. He missed four games for Miami.
The Heat are 43-22 and have a three-game lead atop the Eastern Conference. He averaged 19.8 points in three teams last season before getting hurt, and he has averaged 17.5 points over his career.
His return comes against the team that sent him to Miami a year ago in exchange for Kelly Olynyk, Avery Bradley and a swap of draft picks.
All of Miami's past 89 games have been missed by Oladipo. He missed over 200 games since the initial injury three years ago. He missed a year after the first surgery and 11 months after the second surgery.
