According to a report by TechCrunch, the standalone apps for Hyperlapse and Boomerang have been removed from Apple's App Store. The removal comes just a few days after the announcement that it would stop supporting the IGTV app in favor of the main app.

The standalone Hyperlapse and Boomerang apps have been removed to focus on the main app, according to Christine Pai. We will continue to work on new ways for people to be creative and have fun.

The last day in the stores for both apps was March 1st.

The app, which was first released in 2015, created short, looping videos by taking a burst of photos that you could post on social media. The feature still lives on in the Stories section of the app, despite the fact that the standalone app is gone. It's not clear if Hyperlapse will show up somewhere else within the social network.

The feature of the layout app has been baked into the stories.

The revised statement was added on March 7th.
