In a scene from NYC-set dystopian tale DMZ, the Empire State Building is shown in ruins.

It is a big day for post- apocalyptic shows in Manhattan. The first trailer for DC's upcoming show DMZ is here, just hours after the news broke of a new Walking Dead show with that premise. In the film, a mother goes to the demilitarized zone to find her son. It looks intense.

The four episodes of the DC comic book series will be released at the same time on March 17. It stars a number of people, including Dawson, Benjamin, Hoon Lee, Freddy, Miyares, Jordan, and Venus. Check it out.

The show was created by and produced by Roberto Patino, who is also the showrunner. During the aftermath of the second Civil War, a medic namedAlma Ortega loses her son. She thinks he is in Manhattan, which was evacuated and turned into a demilitarized zone. She decided to go full Snake Plissken to find and save him. Benjamin Bratt is playing a crime boss who is taking advantage of the situation.

In the trailer, we see a character dressed as Batman. It seems like it is set in a version of the DC Multiverse. That is far from the point, as you can see from the intense trailer.

Wondering where our feed went? The new one can be picked up here.
