The war between Russia and Ukraine has been going on for a while.

Australia's prime minister has described the relationship between Russia and China as opportunistic.

Scott Morrison labeled the alliance an "Arc of Autocracy" and said Russia and China would prefer a new world order.

Morrison criticized Beijing's failure to condemn Russia's invasion of Ukraine and China's expansion of trade in Russian wheat while other countries imposed sanctions.

Australia last week promised $50 million to fight Russian invaders.

Morrison said on Monday that the missiles are on the ground.

Nancy Pelosi says the House is considering banning the import of oil and energy products from Russia into the US.

The Biden administration has not called for an oil import ban on Russia.

In a letter to Democrats released Sunday night, Pelosi said the legislation under consideration would repeal normal trade relations with Russia and other countries.

The House would be able to raise tariffs on Russian imports.

As part of omnibus government funding legislation this week, Congress will approve the Biden administration's request for $10 billion in humanitarian, military and economic support for Ukraine.

Russian forces intensified their shelling of Ukrainian cities in the north and south of the country late Sunday, according to presidential adviser Oleksiy Arestovich.

President Zelenskyy appealed to the West to strengthen sanctions as Russian forces increased their shelling of Ukraine.

Zelenskyy criticized Western leaders for not responding to the Russian Defense Ministry's announcement that it would strike Ukraine's military-industrial complex.

Zelenskyy said that the sanctions imposed on Russia are not a signal to the West.

Zelenskyy wants to bring to justice those who order and carry out such crimes.

He said that the sense of impunity of the occupiers made them able to announce such planned atrocities.

The Russian Defense Ministry said on Sunday that it would strike the military-industrial complex in Ukraine with precision weapons.

The ministry spokesman said in a statement that the personnel of Ukrainian defense industry plants should leave the territory of their enterprises.

The International Atomic Energy Agency said that Russian forces are increasing their control over the Zaporizhzhya nuclear plant.

The director general of the agency said on Sunday that Ukrainian staff members are now required to seek approval from the Russians for any operation, even maintenance, and that they have stopped normal communications because of it.

E-mails and fax are no longer working in Ukraine, according to the regulatory authority. Grossi said that for the plant to operate safely, staff must be allowed to carry out their vital duties without interference or pressure.

The Russian military warned neighboring countries not to host its warplanes if Ukrainian aircraft fly combat missions from their territory.

The head of the United Nations refugee agency says the Red Cross and the U.N. are negotiating access to the cities most impacted by fighting.

Filippo Grandi, the U.N. high commissioner for refugees, said Sunday that discussions continue with hope for success, but did not name specific cities. He said during a visit to Poland that the corridors are mainly used to bring humanitarian goods to people in need and also to extract the most vulnerable people.

Poland and other countries receiving refugees from Ukraine need international assistance. Hundreds of thousands are on the move inside Ukraine, and it is very likely that we will see a large influx in the next few days.

The only way to stop this tragedy is for the hostilities to end, said Grandi.

An ongoing assault halted planned evacuates along designated humanitarian corridors, according to an Interior Ministry adviser.

There can't be green corridors because the sick brain of the Russians decides when to start shooting.
