There were a lot of Pop-Tarts at the stores. The chocolate chip cookie dough Pop-Tarts were served at the store.

The US cereals were sold at the stores. There were large boxes of Hershey's Kisses cereals, as well as individual portions of Lucky Charms, in this store.

I went to sell Reese's Puffs at a store. Walmart is selling Reese's Puffs in the same size for less than Walmart is selling Reese's Puffs in the same size for more.

I visited a store that sold 10-packs of Twinkies for $5 and eight-packs of Pop-Tarts for $4. They would cost around $3.12 and $2 at Walmart.

I visited a store that had discounted Twinkies, but it didn't seem like a very good offer.

The choice of items was limited. I had never heard of the brand of products that were offered by the stores. gherkins, hot dogs, and fried onions were included.

The stores didn't have a lot of drinks in the US, but I did find some in the US aisles.

Large swathes of the beverage aisle were dedicated to American brands.

I went to a store that didn't have a dedicated American food section but did have a whole stand of Reese's products.

I was somewhat surprised to see a stand in a Co-op store dedicated to instant mashed potatoes made by Idaho, with signs that focused on 100% Idaho potatoes.

The US grocery aisles sold a lot of brands that are popular in the UK. Many items cost more in the US. I don't think many people will buy these products regularly, because you can order multipacks online at much lower prices. For American ex-pats, this is especially true.

Most people buy Pop-Tarts and Froot Loops from UK grocery stores as a novelty, particularly given that they can buy other cereals made by the parent company for a fraction of the price.
