At an event with RNC donors on Saturday, former President Donald Trump joked about conducting a false flag operation against Russia.

The U.S. military should put the Chinese flag on the F-22 stealth fighters.

Intelligence analysts warned Russia in the weeks leading up to the invasion of Ukraine that it could use a false flag operation to justify a war with the country. Russian President Vladimir Putin did not rely on any single incident for his casus belli.

There were people who took Trump seriously despite the audience laughing at his comments.

Imagine someone is stupid enough to think China has access to our F-22 planes. Imagine that person being the former President of America and the former Commander in Chief.

It's understandable that the former president's words were taken by Omar. Laura Ingraham told Trump about the amphibious attack by Americans. You should not be saying that they should do that secretly, Trump said. He was corrected by Ingraham quickly.

At the event Saturday, Trump called NATO a paper tiger and repeated his baseless claim that he was the true winner of the 2020 election.
