Russian President Vladimir Putin was photographed earlier today surrounded by Aeroflot flight attendants in a bid to bolster solidarity for his war in Ukraine. Do these ladies not realize how much pain they will experience?
Putin warned the West that imposing a no-fly zone over Ukraine would be viewed as an act of war and would transform the special military operation.
Most international services from Russian carriers should be suspended because of a high risk of foreign-leased aircraft being seized. Some lessors want their aircraft to be returned because of the ban on the sale of spare parts to Russia. Russian carriers stopped payment and refused to surrender the aircraft. If leased aircraft are flying outside of the Russian Federation, there is a high risk of being taken over.
All international service will be stopped next week. All round-trip tickets will be canceled after March 6th, while all one-way tickets will be canceled after March 8th. The service halt also applies to Rossiya and Avrora Airlines. The suspension of international flights has been announced by S7 Airlines.
Putin's appearance with Aeroflot flight attendants becomes more curious. According to analysts, the Russian strongman is a recluse due to fear of Communism, and he was pictured going to great lengths to keep his distance from his advisors and foreign leaders. Putin joined a group of all-female flight attendants for a light-hearted lunch at the Aeroflot Aviation School.

There are conflicting reports in Russian media about the resignation of the Aeroflot CEO. Pravda was formerly the official newspaper of the communist party in Russia, and the news was reported by both the TASS and RBC.ru.
President Putin made a rare public appearance and warned against a no-fly zone over Ukraine. Their livelihoods and careers are in danger, as their grins must be sad.
