The Amos family lost their mother, father, and then the roof over their heads. The three teenagers are working together.

Kris Dehnert is a friend of the Amos family. They are more mature than a lot of adults.

The Dehnert family were evicted from their rental in North Hampton, so Dehnert started a GoFundMe page to raise money so they can stay together.

The three found a winter rental at the beach and both of them attend Winnacunnet High School.

The Amos children want to raise enough money to find a new home.

"We want to heal in our own space where we can have that freedom, where we aren't stepping on anyone's toes."

From Australia to the Seacoast

The Amos siblings were born in Australia. Austin said that their dad founded a mobile dog grooming business at only 21 years old. Anthony Amos came to the United States with his wife and family after selling the company to establish a similar enterprise here, his son said.

Austin estimated that it was back in 2010. He and his siblings were young when they arrived in Florida. Although Hydrodog didn't take off here as it did Down Under, the family found a new cause: animal rescue.

The tour was started after we learned about the high rate of animal deaths in the United States.

Traveling across the country with their parents in an RV, the family raised awareness and funds by bathing animals and donating the money to animal rescue organizations. Their mission received national attention and was featured on the show.

The Bathe to Save tour raised money for the Cocheco Valley Humane Society by having a mobile dog washing unit in Somersworth. Austin said that the family settled in a rental home in North Hampton, in a state with a different climate than their native Australia.

He said they fell in love with the snow.

The children attended school. Her brother and sister are in high school.

Unbearable loss

The three siblings knew that life began to fall apart in 2020. Their mother died after a medical accident, following a simple surgery. Their father's cancer came back with a vengeance.

We watched them both be so healthy and then we watched them die.

Mom was amazing, to say the least, said Aria. She was the person that I looked at when I was stressed out. I put them with my mom.

Austin said mom was the brains behind things and kept Dad in line.

It was different after mom passed away. He didn't have time to grieve because he had cancer again.

Austin said that his father was a person who was loud and proud.

There was always a motivation to make him happy. Dad would wake up in the morning and tell his kids to go. We are ready. He would say that every day. Because it was...

They were not parents to us, they were our best friends.

The kids took care of their dad while he was sick.

Grieving for lost parents who meant the world to them, stranded as children on their parent's visa that didn't allow them to work in the United States, and without a reliable source of income, the teens quickly found themselves without. They were evicted from their home after their father died.

The landlord told them that he didn't want kids in the house without their parents.

We were running the house while our father was sick.

Friends come forward to help

A lawyer and an accountant were included on the advisory board for the three siblings.

Anthony was a good friend. Dehnert, a marketing professional from Florida, worked with Amos on the Bathe to Save national tour.

He said that they flew the teens to Florida to learn what they needed and what they wanted.

They want to stay together. They want to finish high school there. They want to carry on their father's legacy. They were raised to be incredible people.

He said that they want to stay in the United States because it is all they know.

They have lived here for nearly all of their lives.

Austin, 17, Aria, 16, and Bella Amos, 18 are teenage siblings who lost both their parents within a year of each other and are on their own. They are staying in a seasonal rental but need help financially.

One of the advisory board members flew up to New Hampshire to find a winter rental for the three of them.

Because she doesn't have the right kind of work visa, she can't get a job to support the family, even though she is now the legal guardian.

She said that they have filed applications for new visas. We are here on compassionate visas.

Anthony Amos had life insurance. The children have been able to access some of the insurance money to cover their immediate needs despite the insurance company not being forthcoming with all of the money.

Moving forward together

The advisory board believes it is necessary to raise $84,000 for the three until they have the necessary work visas. The page has raised over $27,600.

We have an accountant, Pam Jordan, who will be managing the funds for them. They need the funds to get there.

They're going to need another place to rent in June because their winter rental in Hampton is ending.

The tragedy that struck these three siblings could cripple them emotionally, but according to their own words in a video on their GoFundMe page, they are not about to let that happen to them.

In the video, she said that in 10 years, they will be thriving and have an amazing life together.

We feel there is a bigger purpose for us.
