Alexey Tritenko has lost track of how many times he has held a gun. He is a famous actor in Ukranian and has roles in war movies.

A week ago, war became a reality for the 40-year-old. He is one of many Ukrainians who have taken up arms to defend their country against Putin.

Tritenko joined theTerritorial Defense force. With a rifle in hand and dressed in camouflage, he patrols Kyiv, on the lookout for Russian sabotage forces and ready to go to extremes if needed.

He told us that when you have to, you understand all kinds of things really quickly.

On the second day of the war, Tritenko went out with a friend and signed contracts with the Ukrainian government and army.

Tritenko said that he would never leave his city. I would rather defend myself and say: "No, you asshole!"

He said that Russia would be met with fierce resistance if they tried to invade the capital. He is worried about how long the war will last, but he is being helped by people around the world.

I want people in Germany to know that we see what you are doing for us. We are angry at Putin. No one around the world approves of what Russia is doing. That motivates me to keep fighting for my country.

The Ukrainian army has a waiting list for Korney Gritsyuk, who turned 31 on March 3. He told Insider that he imagined his birthday differently when he was from Kyiv.

A trip to Barcelona was canceled by Gritsyuk and his wife, who decided to stay at a friend's empty apartment. He paused work on the marketing plan for his new documentary.

He said that life just changes.

The first Molotov cocktail was made by a man who has never had any involvement with weapons or the military.

He said that it was not nice to make something like this. These things will save us.

Millions of bottles have been given to the population to make Molotov cocktails.

He said he almost feels bad for the people who will have to throw Molotov cocktails.

The guys from the Russian army who are captured by our soldiers are young. Russia sends them here anyway.

He believes someone like him would only be drafted at the last moment.

"I don't know how you can feel prepared for war, if you have to go to war."

One of the first things Yegor Chernev said when he spoke with Insider was "We will win!"

The man from Kyiv is currently in the capital and has joined theTerritorial Defense.

When Russia invaded the eastern Ukrainian Donbas, Chernev fought for Ukraine. He had his first combat experience. He has been working night shifts.

He said he watches what's going on in the streets if something seems suspicious.

He worried for his family, parents, and girlfriend.

He said that Russia is attacking civilians.

On Tuesday, March 1, President Zelensky signed a decree that allows foreign nationals to enter the country if they want to help in the fight against Russia.

The head of the delegation to Ukraine is coordinating the entry of people from Poland, the United States, Great Britain, and Georgia.

The sanctions that have been imposed against Russia by NATO and other countries have been welcomed by the MP, but more drastic action could be taken.

He said that the assets of all of Putin's friends should be frozen.

He thinks that all Russian banks should be excluded from the international payment system. There is an embargo on oil and gas from Russia, as well as a no-fly zone for Russian planes, helicopters, and missiles.

Foreign policy experts from Western countries say that a no-fly zone would increase the risk of a third world war because it would mean NATO intervening directly.
