The New York Times reported that a video captured from inside the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant shows a warning to Russian soldiers as it was being captured.
The Times obtained the video from a source with ties to the local government and verified it using archival videos and photographs of the plant.
A voice can be heard saying "Stop firing at the nuclear facility" in Russian. Cease firing immediately. You are putting the safety of the world at risk. The operation of a crucial part of the plant could be damaged. We won't be able to restore it.
The clock in the video shows the approximate time of the attack.

The largest nuclear plant in Europe was seized.
Oleksandr Starukh, head of the area's regional military administration, confirmed that a fire had broken out at the plant.
The plan's nuclear safety was secured, according to Starukh. No radiation had spilled out from the plant, according to the plant's spokesman.
