Even though the Green Bay Packers seem optimistic about having Rodgers in 2022, he isn't sure what he wants to do.

Rodgers is truly torn on where he wants to play next season, according to Ian Rapoport.

Many people around the NFL expect Rodgers to stay with the Packers, but he is still going back and forth on what he wants.

Packers head coach Matt LaFleur told reporters at the NFL Scouting Combine that he is trying to give Rodgers time and space as he ponders his future.

I told him that I don't want to tell him every day how much we love him and how much we want him back.

Rapoport reported last month that the relationship between Rodgers and the Packers is in a good spot as it has been for a long time, and there is a sense of optimism that he will return.

Gutekunst told reporters this week that he has not received any phone calls from opposing teams interested in a potential trade for Rodgers.

Gutekunst wants Rodgers to inform them of his decision before March 16.

There are a lot of decisions to be made before that. That would be helpful. I think we would know something before then.

After the Packers lost to the San Francisco 49ers in the playoffs, Rodgers said he wanted to take some time and have conversations with the people around him.

Rapoport reported in February that the Packers would be willing to give Rodgers a new deal that would make him the highest-paid quarterback in the league.

Rodgers has been in the NFL for 17 years. He led the league in completion percentage and touchdown passes. He threw for 4,115 yards and 37 touchdown in 16 starts.

The Packers have been the top seed in the playoffs in each of the past two years.
