Two Sky News staff members were struck by bullets as they filmed the attack on Russian forces on the outskirts of Kyiv.

There was a Russian convoy that was destroyed by Ukrainian forces. Sky News reported that the crew passed through several Ukrainian-controlled checkpoint before reaching an empty road where they were fired on.

In the video, the journalists can be heard yelling out that they are members of the press after the first bullet strikes the windshield.

Sky News reported that they were told by the Ukrainians that they were being attacked by a Russian squad.

Sky News reported that the shooting lasted for several minutes and that correspondent Stuart Ramsay and cameraman Richie Mocker both struck.
