There is a direct connection between them, and Britney Spears thinks there is something not quite right about how Brittany Murphy died. The singer just posted about the late actress, saying she finds it "curious" and doesn't seem to buy the official explanation. Britney references a People cover story from last October. As you know... The coroner determined that Brittany died of drug intoxication and pneumonia after she was found unresponsive in her Hollywood Hills home in 2009. Murphy bought that house from Spears, who lived there when she was dating him. Even eerier. Simon Monjack died in that house 5 months later from drug intoxication and pneumonia. There was a documentary about the death of Murphy last year, which has made Britney very interested. Spears didn't mention her connection to Murphy in her IG post, but both Britney and Brittany didn't like staying in the house Monjack once said Murphy thought the place was unlucky. An all-new home was built after the Murphy family sold the mansion. Who knows? The new owner could soon have Britney Spears knocking on their door.
