Apple is going to hold an event on Tuesday, March 8 at 10:00 a.m. The time is in the Pacific. It's nice to have new devices on the horizon in the new year, but Apple's spring events often aren't as exciting as the September and October events.

More videos can be found on the MacRumors YouTube channel.

We are expecting a refreshed version of the iPhone SE, a new iPad Air, and at least one new Apple Silicon Mac at the spring event in 2022. We have rounded up everything that we might see at the event.

iPhone SE 5G

There will be no design changes for the 2020 ‌iPhone SE;. The current model of the iPhone is similar to the one in the iPhone 8, with thick top and bottom bezels, a Touch ID Home button, and a 4.7-inch display.

The only phone that Apple offers with Touch ID instead of Face ID is the.

We are not expecting MagSafe, nor are there likely to be notable changes to battery life. We are likely to see similar color options for the current iPhone SE, which is available in black, white, and red.

There are no design changes on the horizon, so the updates to the. The A15 chip in the iPhone 13 could get the same chip in the _iPhone SE_ for a drastic increase in performance. Apple is rumored to offer 64, 128, and 256 gigabytes of storage.

The 5G feature will put the iPhone SE on par with the flagship iPhones when it comes to connection speed. The cheapest 5G iPhone is expected to be from Apple and will be priced at $399.

The only other rumor we have heard is that it could get the latest Wide camera from the.

iPad Air

There is a new version of the iPad Air that is in the works, but there are no design changes expected. There is a chance that we could see new color options for the next-gen iPad Air. The iPad Air comes in space gray, silver, rose gold, green, and blue.

The update for the iPad Air is expected to bring the device in line with the sixth-generation iPad mini, so it is expected to get an updated A15 chip.

The A15 chip in the iPad mini is downclocked to 2.9 GHz from 3.2 GHz. The A15 will be an improvement over the A14 chip.

The updated iPad Air will work with faster 5G networks. The chip in the iPad mini is limited to sub 6 GHz 5G networks, so it is possible that we could see the same limitation in the iPad mini.

Sub 6 GHz 5G is the more widely available version of 5G that can be found in urban, suburban, and rural areas across the United States and other countries.

It is possible that Apple will take this into account when updating the.

The iPad Air will feature mostly internal changes, but it could get the same updated 12-megapixel Ultra Wide front camera that will work with Center Stage, a feature first introduced in the iPad Pro.

Center Stage is a feature that is designed to keep you in focus when you are on a video call. The wide-angle front-facing camera shows more of the room that you are in, while the processor inside the iPad works to keep you front and center even as you move around. The camera will zoom out if more than one person is in the call.

A quad-LED True Tone flash could be added to the rear camera. We are not expecting any changes to the battery life or other features.

The new iPad Air could be priced starting at $599 for 64GB of storage if the pricing stays the same.

Mac mini

The lower-end Mac mini was updated in 2020 with an M1 chip. The rumors suggest that the new machine will be equipped with Apple's M1 Pro and M1 Max chips.

There is an 8-core version of the M1 Pro and M1 Max chips.

The M1 Pro chip has a 16-core graphics card in the base model 14-inch MacBook Pro. A build to order option is also available. The same chips may come to the Mac mini.

The M1 Pro and M1 Max support up to 32 gigabytes of memory. There is a limited version of the Mac mini.

There are rumors that the mac mini is going to get a new look with a smaller case and a two-tone color scheme. If Apple is introducing a new color scheme, the mac mini could potentially come in colors other than space gray or silver, similar to the 24 inch iMac, but updated colors are just speculation at this point.

Apple's new Mac mini is said to have four Thunderbolt ports, two USB-A ports, an Ethernet port, and a magnetic port.

13-Inch MacBook Pro

A few rumors have suggested that Apple will introduce an updated version of the 13-inch MacBook Pro at the spring event, but it is not clear if that is accurate as the machine will likely use an updated M2 chip, but other Macs that are also going to adopt.

It is questionable if Apple would introduce the ‌M2‌ chip in the 13-inch MacBook Pro at this point in time, but it is not out of the realm of possibility.

The 13-inch MacBook Pro won't get a major design refresh if there is one coming. There is some information on the Touch Bar, but it will look the same as the prior-generation version. According to Mark Gurman, Apple will remove the Touch Bar from the 13-inch MacBook Pro, while other leaked information suggests it will stay.

The updated 13-inch MacBook Pro won't include a mini-LED display or support 120Hz ProMotion refresh rates as an entry level machine.

There will be the same 8-core processor as the _x200C;M2; chip that Apple has in the works.

There will be additional GPU cores. The original 7 and 8-core options are expected to be replaced by 9 and 10-core options. The M2 will not be as powerful as the M1 Pro and the M1 Max.

New iPhone Case Colors

The new case colors were leaked on the internet at the end of February, and it is likely that they will be released after the March event. A light blue, a dark green blue, an orange shade, and a yellow are new colors.

It is likely that we will see the same colors for iPad cases and Apple Watch bands. We will see the new cases added to the online store after the event.

Since late January, Apple has been testing out various versions of its software, and the updates are almost ready to launch. The software may not come out on March 8, but Apple will likely give us launch date information and release candidates could also come after the event.

If you have an older version of the phone, the update brings support for Face ID, new characters, and improves.

The Universal Control feature is designed to allow multiple Macs and iPads to be controlled with a single mouse and keyboard. There is a full guide with all of the new features coming in the new version of the operating system.
