According to a notice on its Russian website, Nintendo has put its Russian store into maintenance mode, which may mean that players in the country can't buy games from the store.

Nintendo eShop in Russia is temporarily put into maintenance mode due to the fact that the payment service used in the game has stopped processing payments in rubles. The Verge reached out for more information.

Many gaming companies have taken action in protest of the invasion of Ukraine. CD Projekt Red and Electronic Arts have stopped selling their games in Russia. In Russia, Microsoft has suspended all new sales of products and services. I couldn't find the game in the Russian store, which is where it was sold in Russia. Sony has yet to reply to a request for comment.
