Capital One's popular Venture X offer and their monster Spark Cash Plus offer are ending soon, so get in on those now.
Below you will find my favorite current welcome bonuses divided into four sections: blockbuster offers, excellent transferable points offers, excellent airline card offers, and excellent hotel card offers.
The Marriott Bonvoy Boundless card had an amazing welcome bonus: 5 free nights, worth up to 50K points each. We didn't recommend it to most people because it was terrible for everyone else.
This is a great way to compare credit card offers, but it misses some nuances.

Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card The cost/benefit ratio makes this card worth it for the lounge access and travel protections. Priority Pass, Capital One Lounges, and the President's Circle status are available to authorized users. The Capital One Venture rewards card is worth exactly 1 cent each for travel, and the card earns 2 miles per dollar on most purchases. This makes the return on most spend similar to a 2% cash back card, though you must redeem your miles to get 1 cent per mile. Capital One has an advantage over cash back: they can transfer their miles to airline and hotel points. Visa Infinite is the card type. The earning rate is 10X on hotels and rental cars booked via Capital One Travel. Up to $300 in statement credits annually for bookings made through Capital One Travel, 10,000 bonus miles each year starting at the first anniversary, and up to $100 application fee credit for Global Entry. |
You can use the 100K bonus to offset travel purchases at a penny per mile, or you can transfer to airline and hotel partners and get even better value.
If you're trying to get or stay under 5/24, you won't want to get this one just yet.
The last day to apply for the 100,000 points + $200 vacation rental credit offer is March 14th, 2022.
Also:
The Capital One offer requires a huge amount of spend, but the rewards are amazing.
The $3,500 offer is available through a Capital One business relationship manager.
If you have a business and you can spend $50,000 in six months on your card, then this is a great deal.
Even a simple sole proprietor can apply for business credit cards. Even if you don't realize it, you have a business. You must have a business in order to sign up for a business credit card. It is common for people to have businesses without realizing it. You have a business if you sell items at a yard sale or on eBay. In any of these cases, your business is considered a Sole Proprietorship. When you apply for a business credit card as a sole proprietor, you can use your own name, phone, and address, as well as your social security number. You can get a Tax ID from the IRS for free through this website. Is it okay to use business cards for personal expenses? Most people I know use business cards for personal expenses. Most business card applications state that you should only use the card for business purposes. Some credit card protections do not apply to business cards. If you aren't comfortable using the card for personal expenses, don't use it.
I recommend leaving this one alone if you don't think you can do the full $50K spend.
The offer is expected to end in March of 2022.
Capital One has a complete guide.
The Resy 125K point offer includes 10X points at restaurants worldwide for six months on up to $25K spend, if you choose the 150K offer.
It's possible to earn up to 150K points after 6 months if you spend a lot at restaurants.
The Amex Platinum card has a welcome bonus that is more valuable than the card's annual fee.
I don't know how long this offer will last.
Also:
The co- branded Platinum cards are still excellent offers, even though they aren't as good as the vanilla Platinum card.
Anyone who hasn't had this particular Platinum variation before and anyone who is willing to open one with Morgan Stanley should consider this, especially those who spend a lot at restaurants.
The welcome bonus is worth more than the card's annual fee, but you should get it.
I don't know how long these offers will last.
Also:
The Brex business cash management account comes with a credit card that acts like a credit card, unlike the usual credit card sign up offer. Transfer points 1 to 1 to airline transfer partners can be used to cash out Brex points.
To be eligible for this offer, you must own a business that is registered in the US as a C-corp, S-corp, or LLP.
If you apply for Brex Cash, you won't get a credit pull and it won't add to your count.
This account does not affect your Chase 5/24 status and there is no hard pull on your account.
Don't apply if you don't own a qualified business or if you can't meet the spend requirement.
It's unclear how long this offer will last. You should sign up right away if you qualify.
There is a Brex Bonus of over 100K points without a credit inquiry.
It is fee-free and can be used for office supplies, phone service, cable TV, and internet.
Imagine if you spent all of that within 5X categories, you would earn 37,500 points, which would add up to 112,500, for the 75K offer.
The Chase Ink Business Cash makes it easy to earn points quickly and the premium cards make it easy for anyone in the household to get it.

Chase's 5/24 Rule: With most Chase credit cards, Chase will not approve your application if you have opened 5 or more cards with any bank in the past 24 months. This is true for Chase business cards too: you won't be approved if you are over 5/24. That said, if you are under 5/24 and get approved for a Chase business card, that card won't add to your 5/24 count. To determine your 5/24 status, see: Easy Ways to Count Your 5/24 Status. The Amex Gold Card has been a favorite of ours since it was introduced with its 4X dining and grocery categories, but for a while the best offer was 45K points.
If you haven't had this card in the past 7 years, you should be able to get it.
If you're trying to stay under 5/24, you won't want this one.
I don't think there is a rush to get in on the current deal.

If you don't want to fly Delta or one of its partners, consider waiting for an offer with bonus MQMs.

In a normal world, 100,000 airline miles for $5,000 would be a big deal.

This offer has been around for a while and I don't expect it to end soon.
The $100 statement credit is a nice kicker, and it is a good offer for people who want to accumulate Alaska miles, or use the card to save on airfare.
There is a similar offer for the business version of this card, but without the $100 statement credit.
Anyone who wants to add to their Alaska mileage balance and anyone who wants to use the card's companion fare should get it.

I don't know how long this offer will last, but my guess is that we will have plenty of opportunities for similar bonuses in the future.
The previous 150K best offer didn't include a free night certificate, so this may be the best ever bonus for this card.
The annual fee for this card will increase by $10, but you will also get more great perks: the ability to add points to a free night certificate, better earnings on spend, and $50 United Travel.
Anyone under the age of 24 who doesn't have this card may find it worth getting.

It's a good idea to sign up before March 24 in order to lock in a lower annual fee.
This is the card's usual great offer, but it's plenty good enough to include here.
The annual free night and Diamond status are fantastic bonuses, so anyone who is good at using the card should get it.
If you don't think you'll use the card fully, you shouldn't get it.
It would be good to get this before Amex increases the annual fee on this card, so that you will get at least a year with the card at the current annual fee.
