Despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived.

The 50-over World Cup was won by Warne in 1999 and he also claimed 293 dismissals in one-day internationals.
He retired from first-class and List A cricket with Hampshire in 2007, after Australia whitewashed England in the 5th Test at home.
After retiring from all formats, Warne would continue to play Twenty20 franchise cricket.
He held coaching roles at T20 franchises as well as being a commentator.
