Big Tech has faced increasing pressure to take stronger action against Russia as the country continues to lay siege to Ukraine. Social media platforms are trying to stop misinformation about the invasion and protect against cyberattacks. Russian state-run media have been blocked by Meta and Reddit, as well as by Sputnik and all Russian state-run media.

Apple has stopped product sales in Russia, Sputnik has been removed from the App Store, and other companies have stopped advertising in Russia.
