Jerry Jones is close to being the most-hated owner in the NFL.

Jones and the Cowboys running back are both in the top 20 in a study of more than a million posts.

Jones isn't the most-hated person in the league. According to BetOnline.ag, the title goes to Rodgers. In December, Rodgers was associated with more than 266,000 negative messages. More than twice as much as Antonio Brown. The third-ranked coach is the one with the most negative posts.

Jones isn't the most-hated owner of the football team. Jones has nearly 25,000 negative posts.

Negative phrases such as "I hate Aaron Rodgers" or "Antonio Brown sucks" were analyzed by the study.

The study explains why Jackson Mahomes and Brittany Matthews wound up in the Top 20 most hated. Patrick's brother and fiancée are very active on social media. Jackson Mahomes had more than 75,000 negative posts on his account. Matthews had more than 10,000.

The commissioner of the National Football League has almost 60,000 negative posts. New England's Robert Kraft is the leader with less than 7,000 negative posts.

There were a total of negative tweets counted in December.

Rodgers, Antonio Brown, Bill Belichick, Beckham Jr., Deshaun Watson, and Baker Mayfield.
