The Atlanta, a 172-foot barge that sank during a terrible storm in Lake Superior, has been found, preserved in the icy water just as it was when it went down.

The gold letters of the ship are still visible.

They pulled at the oars for hours and eventually came to the Crisp Point Life-Saving Station. Only two men made it to the beach after the boat overturned twice while attempting to land.

Video from a remote operated vehicle confirmed that the survivors' account that the masts broke off during the storm.
