The World Cup play-off semi-final between Scotland and Ukraine has been postponed.

The nations were due to meet in Scotland on March 24, but the game has been suspended in Ukraine because of the Russian invasion.

The winners will play either Wales or Austria in the playoffs.

The Scottish FA is in talks with Uefa and Fifa, who will now consider the call from Ukraine.

The president of the Scottish FA wrote a message to his counterpart in the Ukranian FA.

He wrote to send a message of support, friendship and unity.

The draw for the World Cup will take place on 1 April.

Scotland have three Nations League Group B games in June, along with Ukraine, Armenia and the Republic of Ireland. If there is a need for an alternative date for the play-off semi-final, those games could be rearranged.
