Jeffrey Epstein's legacy goes far beyond his jailhouse death and the break-up of Bill Gates' marriage.

In a new interview with CBS, Gates opened up about her divorce from the Microsoft billionaire, which she said was painful for many reasons, including his friendship with a convicted sex criminal.

French Gates said that the factors leading to the split were many.

The public has not been given an inside look into the aftermath in most of these cases. It may be the closest we ever come to learning the truth about how deep his connections went with the death of his associate Ghislaine Maxwell.

I couldn't trust what we had.

Bill Gates associate says he was deceived when the connection was revealed.
