Two cargo ships were hit by explosives off the coast of Ukranian.

The Ukrainian Navy has accused the Russian Black Sea Fleet of using civilian vessels to obscure the movements of the Russian navy. There was an explosion on Thursday that led to the sinking of the MV Helt.

According to The Times and The Jerusalem Post, the Ukrainian Navy said that the Russians had threatened to fire on the ship if it did not enter the war zone.

The tactic could help Russian ships. The Automatic Identification System (AIS) on the ship had not been damaged, and MarineTraffic recorded the ship just over a dozen nautical miles off the port of Odessa.

Two crew members were in a life raft at the time of the accident, and four more had yet to be accounted for, according to the managing director of the Vista Shipping Agency. He said that the vessel may have hit a mine. Insider did not get a response from the shipping agency.

The Ukrainians cannot go to the sea because it is under Russian control, according to Ilves.

The ship was not the first vessel to be affected by the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The Banglar Samriddhi, a Bangladesh vessel, was hit by a missile or bomb at a port in Olvia. The engineer was killed by a missile.

The ship was stuck at the port with 29 crew members. The executive director of Bangladesh Shipping Corp told the news outlet that it was not clear which side fired the missile.

There are videos on social media showing Banglar Samriddhi crew members asking for help.

We don't have a power supply. The power supply is running. We are close to death. We haven't been rescued yet. A crewmember asked to be saved, according to Reuter's retelling of a video.

Russia launched an attack on Thursday and the largest port in the country has been closed. There is a high risk of damage to civilian shipping in the northwestern part of the Black Sea, including cyberattacks and mines, according to the NATO Shipping Center.

The Black Sea is a key route for oil and bulk food exports. Several ships have been fired upon. Many shipping companies have changed their vessels.
