Another Netflix production was robbed, this time on the set of 'Lupin'

Variety reported that two big on-set robberies had taken place in the space of two days. Thieves broke into vehicles used for production of The Crown and stole $200,000 worth of antique props. On the same day, 20 thieves with covered faces broke onto the set of Lupin and made off with $300,000 worth of equipment.

The robbery happened in a suburb of Paris. The crew and cast of the upcoming season of Lupin are safe after an incident on February 25.

The second biggest international hit after Squid Games is Lupin, which has helped create a production boom in the French capital, along with series like Emily in Paris and Call My Agent. France recently made it mandatory for streaming services like Disney+ to invest at least 25% of their revenue in local productions.

The character of Assane Diop, a master of disguise detective, was created by French author Maurice Leblanc. The 10th anniversary of Intouchables (Untouchables) was celebrated at the Cesar awards just hours after the attack.
