There is still a lot of gossip about who is moving where, even though the January transfer window is closed. Transfer Talk brings you all the latest gossip and deals.

TOP STORY: Wijnaldum ready to leave PSG?

One of the free transfers for Les Parisiens during the transfer window was the switch to Paris Saint-Germain by Georginio Wijnaldum.

It has not gone to plan for the Netherlands international, who has struggled to break into the first team since arriving at the Parc des Princes.

AS reports that a number of teams are interested in the player if he leaves at the end of the season. Among those that are interested are West Ham United, West Indies, and a few others.

Part of the problem with the French capital could be due to the system, with the side often playing a 4-2-3-1 rather than a 4-3-3, which he often played in before the move.

For Atleti Madrid, Wijnaldum is seen as a player to fill a void in their middle of the park, with 27-year-old summer signing Rodrigo de Paul having not quite settled into life in LaLiga since his switch from Udinese.

Saul left the Rojiblancos for the Blues on a loan last summer, and he is on his way to Major League Soccer.

PAPER GOSSIP

According to Calciomercato, Real Madrid and Manchester United are interested in Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen made a switch from Lille to Italy in 2020 for roughly $68 million. He has not played in a lot of games this season because of injuries and the African Cup of Nations, but he has managed to score seven and assist three times. He could be a tough one for the two sides to achieve without a significant fee because of his current deal.

Calciomercato reports that a lot of clubs are keeping an eye on the progress of Djordje Mihailovic.

A number of clubs are eyeing a move for the MLS player, who has a deal with the MLS side that expires in 2023. The report claims that there are AS Roma, Bologna, Atalanta, Bayer Leverkusen, and other teams. Montreal is holding out for 8 million dollars.

According to Ekrem Konur, if an offer matches their demands in the summer, they will move on young full-back Jeremie Frimpong.

Frimpong has been a regular at right-back for the German side since he moved from Celtic. Potential interest from other clubs has been spurred by the fact that the Netherlands youth international has featured in 23 league games this season. If they were to move him in the summer, he would be worth 30 million dollars.

Nicolo Schira reports that Hellas Verona are prepared to sign Giovanni Simeone on a permanent deal once his loan ends.

Diego's son Giovanni has impressed for the club this season in his loan move from Cagliari. He has scored 15 goals in the league and will be staying with the club until at least 2026.

Nicolo Schira says that Matias Vecino will leave the club at the end of the season as a free agent.

Vecino is willing to leave the Nerazzurri when his contract expires in the summer. Lazio are said to be particularly interested in a deal, as are LaLiga and the Premier League.
