Meta CEO and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has long been the subject of online jokes that he acts like a robot, and an interviewer recently referenced them before a two-hour chat.

The interview with the executive was published on Monday, covering a wide range of topics from the metaverse and problems with social media to his nightly routine with his two young daughters.

Some refer to him as "Zuckerborg" for his communications skills that can sometimes be impersonal.

The internet had a field day making meme of him after he was grilled in front of Congress over his company's handling of millions of users data in what has become known as the Cambridge Analytica scandal. Many of the online posts compared him to a character from Star Trek.

SNL ran a parody with cast member Alex Moffat playing a robot.

In an interview with NBC News, he acknowledged his robotic cadence. The CEO was asked if he was the best person to communicate with on Facebook.

I have had a hard time expressing myself. I come across as robotic. This is one of the things. I need to get better at running this company as I grow up.
