The Philadelphia Eagles general manager doubled down on his support for Jalen Hurts on Wednesday, amid speculation that the team could pursue a star veteran quarterback.
Roseman said there was no doubt about it, when asked if the organization still felt Hurts was the starter. He will do everything he can to get better, and we have to help him.
The Eagles have three first-round picks. The Eagles had a surplus of draft capital and extensive homework on Deshaun Watson, which helped fuel speculation that they would make a run at a more established quarterback.
Roseman backed Hurts for the second time.
Roseman said after their playoff loss that he was of the opinion that Hurts would be the starter in 2022.

Roseman gave a health update on Hurts, who had surgery in February after playing through a high left ankle injury. Roseman said that the Eagles are really optimistic that Hurts will be ready for the start of the program.
