On April 4th, employees at the Bay Area offices and several other US locations will return to work. The hybrid work approach will begin on that date, where most employees will be in the office for three days per week.
The January 10th return to office was delayed in December, and now we know when it will be. The company will use the month of March to help transition to the new hybrid model, according to Lora Lee Erickson.
Some employees may need to be on site more than three days a week. Workers can request an extension if they want more time. Since the company launched a new work location tool in June, nearly 14 thousand employees worldwide have transferred to a new location or switched to full remote work.
Anyone who visits a website will need to have an approved accommodation or be vaccine free. Unvaccinated employees with approved accommodations will have to wear a mask. US-based remote employees don't have to bevaccinated because they don't go to the office.
