Cain Velasquez Shot At Man Who Allegedly Molested UFC Legend's Family Member

The man who was supposed to be the target of the shooting was accused of molesting one of the UFC legend's family members. The sports website has confirmed.

Multiple sources tell us that the person who opened fire at the school was the man who was accused of sexually abusing a close relative.

The man lived at a home where a young family member attended a daycare. Sources say that the man was arrested and charged with a felony count of lewd and lascivious act with a child under the age of 14 after allegedly molesting a relative there.

The man was granted a release from custody after an arraignment hearing last Friday despite strong opposition from the district attorney's office.

According to our sources, the release enraged Velasquez so much that he attempted to take justice into his own hands and shoot the man outside of a local school.

A felony charge of attempted murder was filed against him.

The former UFC fighter is due in court for a hearing on the matter later Wednesday.

Sources say he will be charged by the office of the district attorney.
