There is a rare discount on the Nintendo Switch. If you are an Amazon Prime subscriber, the handheld-only variant of the popular Switch is on sale for $189.99. Nintendo hardware sales are rare, with sales on the Switch lite being even rarer. This deal is only for today or until it sells out.

All five colors are on offer with this deal: turquoise, yellow, coral, blue, and gray. You can pick from a variety of portable games, which are great for kicking back and playing.

It is easier to play your collection of Switch games on the go with the smaller, lighter Switch.

It may be easy to overlook the Switch lite due to travel and commute not being what they used to be. The Switch lite is ideal for on-the-go gaming, but also makes a great handheld. It doesn't have the joy-cons for built-in controls on the screen. The display is smaller than the regular Switch and Switch OLED panels, but the overall compact package makes it a more svelte and streamlined experience. It has a proper D-pad.

Some games are not compatible with the Switch lite, and text can be a little small if a game was designed with a large TV in mind.
