Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel voices frustration over Roman Abramovich questions

A Swiss billionaire claims he has been offered the chance to buy the club, which could be bad news for Roman Abramovich.

Hansjorg Wyss told Swiss newspaper Blick that Abramovich "wants to get rid of Chelsea quickly" after the threat of sanctions was raised in Parliament.

Following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Abramovich gave stewardship and care to the foundation.

Wyss claims, but they chose not to respond.

The club has always denied that they are up for sale.

Russian billionaires have been subject to European Union sanctions where their assets have been frozen because of their close ties to Russian president Vladimir Putin.

Alisher Usmanov is a Russian billionaire who has links to the club.

Chris Bryant, a Labour Member of Parliament, said in Parliament on Tuesday that Abramovich was going to sell his home and another flat because he was terrified of being sanctioned by the United Kingdom government.

Abramovich is trying to sell all of his villas in England, he also wants to get rid of Chelsea quickly.

I and three other people received an offer on Tuesday to buy the club.

A spokesman for Abramovich wouldn't comment on the claims.

It would be a huge blow for the club and English football if he decided to sell it.

The Russian bought the Blues in 2003 for 140 million dollars, and in many ways it has set the template for how much finance was needed to compete at the top end of the league.

The club has been given more than 1.5 billion dollars byAbramovich.

The club has won the FA Cup five times, the League Cup three times, the Europa League twice, and the European Championship twice.

The Blues have won every trophy possible since Roman Abramovich took over the club, including their first Club World Cup.

Turbulent week for Chelsea

Russian President Putin launched a military invasion of Ukraine.

Chris Bryant, a member of the Labour Party, told the Commons that the UK Government should take control of Roman Abramovich's assets because of his alleged links to corruption.

On February 26th, the owner of the club announced that he is handing stewardship and care of the club to the charity foundation.

Foundation members are concerned about whether Charity Commission rules will allow them to run the club. The League Cup final at Wembley ended after the game had ended.

The Ukrainians asked for help in reaching a peaceful resolution with Russia.

The Charity Commission is seeking information from the club after it was placed under the control of its charitable foundation.
