Musk is upset that his company didn't get a mention in the speech.

In his speech, the president praised Ford and GM for investing billions of dollars into building electric vehicles, but didn't mention the company that is the world's leading manufacturer of EVs.

Ford is investing $11 billion to build electric vehicles, creating 11,000 jobs across the country.

This made Musk angry.

Musk told CNBC that nobody is watching the State of the Union.

Musk replied to a post on Biden's official account in which the president praised GM and Ford.

Musk said: "Tesla has created over 50,000 US jobs building electric vehicles and is investing more than double GM and Ford combined."

It is not the first time that Biden has left the EV conversation out of his mind, and it is not the first time that Musk has thrown shade at him.

In January, Musk described Biden as a " damp sock puppet in human form" after the president praised EV production by GM and Ford. Musk has complained to CNBC that Biden has ignored the company.

Biden has acknowledged thatTesla is America's largest electric-vehicle manufacturer.
