Just before a crucial hearing with Kim, West dropped his divorce attorneys in the eleventh hour, playing the game of musical chairs with his legal team again. Sources tell us that he fired his lawyer, Chris Melcher. The relationship between Ye and Melcher had become very difficult. Our sources say that at times, he wanted to put up a fight, and at other times, he just wanted to settle things with Kim. We are told that the attorney who represented Nicole Young in her divorce with Dr. Dre has now been hired by the rapper. Dre was represented by Disso Queen Laura Wasser in his divorce, so once again, it will be both of them. The judge is expected to make Kim legally single on Wednesday. According to the court record, Kim will either call or video chat into the hearing, which is highly unlikely. Since Kim filed for divorce, this is the fourth attorney he has parted ways with. In a rare and public statement she made last month, asking West to stop with the nasty posts about his family, Kim also mentioned that she hopes he can finally respond to the third attorney he has had in the last year to resolve any issues amicably. It is unclear whether or not she will ask the judge to continue the hearing to buy her more time as her new lawyer.
