A Green Bay woman was charged on Tuesday with killing and decapitating a Green Bay man at a west-side home.

Taylor was charged with first-degree intentional homicide, second-degree murder, and third-degree sexual assault. Brown County prosecutors accused her of using a bread knife and another knife to kill the victim.

One person is in custody in the death of a 25-year-old Green Bay man.

The complaint describes how officers made a gruesome discovery in a home. A police officer saw a plastic bucket on the floor as he went down the basement stairs. He lifted the towel and saw a human head inside the bucket. The complaint said that he looked around the room and saw dried blood on a mattress.

Other blood was found in the basement of the home.

Brown County Court Commissioner Chad Resar set bail at $2 million. The killing was one of the most serious to have been committed in Brown County in a long time, according to the assistant district attorney.

Green Bay police officers were on the scene. They found the victim's body at the home on Stony brook Lane. Police haven't revealed his name.

The man was taken into custody at a home in the 2300 block of Eastman Avenue. Green Bay police said in a news release that she was an associate of the victim.

According to the criminal complaint, the two smoked meth together on Feb. 23. According to the complaint, they began a sexual encounter that included the man being choked with a chain and then being smothered with her bare hands.

She asked if detectives knew what it was like to love something so much and then kill it.

It was not clear from the complaint when the victim stopped breathing, but it took 3 to 5 minutes from when she began choking the man to when she blacked out.
