Jet2 relaxes face mask requirements on some flights

The rule for passengers to wear face masks on flights has been dropped by Jet2.com.

Passengers flying to and from airports in England and Northern Ireland are no longer required to wear a mask.

A spokesman said that face masks are no longer required at airports or on planes. You will need to wear a face mask when you get to your overseas destination, as per UK government guidance.

Passengers will be required to wear a face mask in overseas airports.

On the Jet2.com website, there is an updated advice.

Everyone over the age of six must wear a face mask on flights to and from Scotland. This is the case even if you are fully vaccine free.

If you are unable to wear a mask, you must let us know.
