One week after Apple seeded the fourth and fifth betas of the upcoming iPadOS 15.4 update to developers for testing, the company seeded the fifth and final version of the software.
After the proper profile has been installed on an iPad or iPhone, developers can download the two operating systems through the Apple Developer Center or over the air.
Some of the most significant changes we have seen in an update have been introduced in iPadOS 15.4. There is an option to use Face ID while wearing a mask with no Apple Watch required. It scans the area around your eyes when you wear a mask, just like Face ID.
The Universal Control feature is available on the iPadOS 15.4. Universal Control is compatible with a Mac running macOS Monterey 12.3. It is simple and intuitive to use, and it works perfectly after installing the updates.
There are 37 new emojis with the addition of Emoji 14 characters, so you can now use them that include melting face, biting lip, heart hands, bubbles, beans, face with diagonal mouth, palm up hand, eggs, troll, low battery, coral, lotus, and more.
The second beta added support for the "Tap to Pay" feature that is designed to allow Apple Pay to be used on the ios phone.
Third-party providers need to add support for tap to pay to be used, so it is not yet available for use.
Apple added support for AirTag anti-stalking features and a new voice for American users in the fourth version of the operating system. When setting up an AirTag or a Find My accessory, there is a warning that the device is locked to an Apple ID and that using it to track someone without their consent is a crime.
You can find this item by using the " Find My network" screen. This item is designed to be detected by victims and to allow law enforcement to request identifying information about the owner.
There are signs that Apple may be planning to add support for digital IDs and driver's licenses. There isn't a lot of evidence for this at the moment, but there was a mention of the feature in the PassKit code.
The ability to turn off notifications for Shortcuts automations, keyboard brightness controls, and EU vaccine certificates are some of the new features.
Everything new in the update is highlighted in our guide, which has a full list of features.
