On Monday, Hartzler's personal account was suspended.

In February, Hartzler posted a message on her account saying that women's sports are for women, not men pretending to be women.

A statement from Hartzler's campaign called the suspension "shameful, utterly ridiculous, and a horrible abuse of censorship by big tech giants to stifle free speech."

The 4th District of Missouri has a congresswoman named Hartzler. She is one of several Republicans vying for the Senate seat. Roy Blunt, the incumbent Republican, decided not to seek a third term last year.
