Tyson Fury
Tyson Fury points at Dillian Whyte's picture after he failed to show up for the pair's news conference

Dillian Whyte missed the news conference for the fight with Tyson Fury and the world champion says he is terrified.

The mandatory challenger to the title is believed to be in Portugal.

At Tuesday's news conference, Fury said that he had seen the white flag.

They will meet at Wembley Stadium.

There was speculation that he was seeking to modify his terms before signing his contract last week.

Frank Warren argued that the man was getting a career-high pay-day.

He has given me that much more confidence, it is unbelievable.

He is terrified. He doesn't want to go face-to-face because he will see that fire in my eyes, and he thinks.

It is fear, it is terror. I don't blame him for not being here today, it's all of the above.

Fury the showman turns up again

Kal Sajad is at Wembley Arena.

We were told by the press that Whyte would not be attending the press room at Wembley Stadium.

Since the bout was announced, the Londoner has been off the grid.

The fight has been negotiated in a way that makes him frustrated and he didn't show on Tuesday.

He was upset with the governing body for ordering an 80% purse split in favor of Fury, as he had been fighting for his mandatory status with the WBC.

He only signed the contract a few hours before the fight.

But Fury was on hand, and on top of his game. Even Tyson Fury versus his own shadow sells, and this is going to be a car race.

He challenged everyone in the room to sing or dance. No one was willing to take it.

Frank Warren Whyte said it was a disgrace that did not show up. It would damage the legacy of the man.

This all-British clash has not been easy to make. Promoting it will not be easy if Whyte doesn't appear at future media events.
