Women's World Cup: New Zealand shock Australia in warm-up

New Zealand beat Australia by just one goal in their Women's World Cup warm-up match.

Amelia Kerr had an easy 92 and the captain struck 161 not out.

The White Ferns had seven overs left.

Captain Meg Lanning and her teammates made half-centuries in Australia's loss to Lincoln.

New Zealand was beaten by Pakistan in their first warm-up game.

Australia will be going to the World Cup after defeating England in the multi-format series.

England and Australia will meet in Hamilton on the same day as New Zealand and West Indies play in the tournament.

The final warm-up match for England is against South Africa in Lincoln on Wednesday.

Farrant left the field ill in Monday's win over Bangladesh and is unlikely to play. England are taking precautions with a calf problem and may not have to field or bat in the game against the Proteas.

India defeated the West Indies by 81 runs.

India opener Smriti Mandhana, who was struck on the head and had to retire hurt in their game against South Africa on Sunday, was cleared to play and made 66 in India's 258 before West Indies were restricted to 177-9.
